Hotel pickup
As with all our tours, hotel pickup is included. Depending on your hotel’s location, pickups will be made from hotels in the Punta Cana and Bávaro area between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, and from Bayahibe between 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM. Once all participants have arrived, our tour guide will welcome you on the bus and provide general information about the tour and the Dominican Republic. On the way to Bayahibe, we always plan a brief restroom break before boarding the boat.
Boarding in Bayahibe
Our boat awaits us at Bayahibe beach. Here you will also receive the wristbands for entry to the national park, issued by the Ministry of Tourism. And off we go!
Let the adventure begin!
After about 30 minutes of boating, we arrived at Saona Island and could see the first stretches of idyllic beaches. However, on our “4 Paradise Beaches” tour, we still had quite a way to go.
First beach "Canto de la Playa"
Since this stretch of beach is a bit secluded, it’s only visited by a few large groups, so we can enjoy the magnificent Caribbean waters. There’s a small snack bar on this stretch of beach. But before lunch, we still have a second stretch of natural beach on our itinerary.
Second beach "Playa El Toro".
While the first groups go to lunch, we’ll have the beach almost to ourselves. The wonderfully calm, shallow water is perfect for swimming. The beach and its contrasting colors offer fantastic photo opportunities.
Third beach "Playa del Gato"
Around 80% of day-trippers spend their entire time on Saona along this stretch of beach. The beach is very long and perfect for a leisurely stroll.
We'll have lunch here
We enjoyed an exclusive Dominican buffet, prepared especially for our group. There was a wide variety of dishes, including pasta, rice, beans, vegetables, salad, fish, meat, plantains, and yucca. Rum, beer, soft drinks, and water were also available. After lunch, of course, we enjoyed a small cup of Dominican coffee. Then we took a half-hour nap on one of the sun loungers.
The Natural Pool
Even more spectacular is this stop in the middle of the sea, with the water up to our knees. There we’ll look for the large red starfish and toast once more to our beautiful day at the beach with Dominican rum.
Return to the hotel
As the sun sets, we’ll return to Bayahibe, where our bus driver will be waiting to take us back to our hotels. Our goal is for all participants from Bayahibe to be back at their hotels by 5:00 pm at the latest, and for participants from Punta Cana and Bávaro by 6:30 pm at the latest.
Our goal is to offer you a unique experience! Therefore, our tour prices are all-inclusive and there are no hidden costs. You only need to bring some money if you want to tip the boat crew, the bus driver, or the tour guide, or if you want to buy souvenirs.
